SPARROWHAWK – low over Golf course, upsetting crows

RIVERSIDE PARK
Little Grebe – 3
Common Sandpiper – one flew up river from bank by the oak tree (35th species)
Grey Wagtail
Common Gull – adult with BH Gulls on Cobden Meadows
Lesser Black-backed Gull – adult over Cobden Bridge by Pettinger Gardens

A really good, encouraging start to the year. Picked up most of the regular species.

Notable absent birds – KINGFISHER, GREENFINCH, CHIFFCHAFF
